Sacred Sleep

The Sacred Sleep hypnotherapy sessions are a wonderful way to relax and let go of stress. By encouraging reflection, they helped me to identify worries and expectations that were getting in the way of a good night’s sleep. It was also fascinating to learn more about humans’ cultural and physiological relationship with nighttime.

If you find yourself tangled up in your thoughts after a difficult day, Jan’s calming voice will guide you through meditations and visualizations that will allow you to focus on more pleasant things.

I ended each session feeling happier and more peaceful, as well as more confident in my ability to set aside what was bothering me and trust in the healing qualities of sleep.

2. Reviews of the Mindfulness Meditation Taster

Marina’s Experience

Jan’s mindful hypnosis and meditation recordings provide masterfully paced and beautifully narrated journeys into relaxation and healing. Having experienced many different types of meditation with various instructors, I can confidently say that Jan’s offerings are outstanding in their effectiveness and professionalism, and as a result of following his recordings, I was able to find “abiding quiet and calm” that he talks about.

The listeners are guided in a gentle, yet confident way, and every step of the way, one feels supported and safe in both the hypnosis and meditation. The moment-to-moment unfoldment of the meditation invites listeners to become more attuned to their bodies and to their minds, and Jan’s voice is a perfect guide that helps one feel at ease. I especially appreciated the fact that Jan offered many options and variations for meditators with different physical conditions, making sure that one’s physical comfort and ease is of utmost importance.

Personally, I don’t like sitting up during mindful exercises, so it felt very accommodating to take time to find the set-up that works best for me. The joyful and pleasant visualizations made all the difference for me, as I gladly followed the narrative into a deep meditative state. I felt rested and refreshed after listening to the recordings, and I am looking forward to meditating with Jan’s recordings regularly. I highly recommend the recordings for anyone who wants to find peace in the middle of their busy lives.

Simply Wow!

Simply wow! I’ve tried so many different meditations in the past but none had the effect quite in this way. I felt more relaxed and safer to simply be in the moment, and it was all down to Jan’s voice. It has such a unique and powerful quality that is a beacon of light in the darkness. I was able to detach from my super busy mind my worries to float in the peaceful abyss the tones created about me. The trance was equally amazing and the way the parable was dispersed throughout allowed the meaning to be fully absorbed and embraced. Highly recommended. Use head phones for the full envelopment!

Karen’s Experience

I listened to the hypnotherapy & meditation recordings before going to bed, and it was an incredible experience. Jan’s soothing voice created an atmosphere that made me feel safe and deeply relaxed. As the session progressed, I felt my stress and anxiety melt away. After the session, I drifted into a deep, restful sleep and had a meaningful dream. This experience not only helped me relax, but also gave me a sense of peace and clarity. I am a huge fan of Jan’s sessions, because his passion for hypnotherapy & genuine compassion for his others shine through. I highly recommend everyone to try it out.

3. Reviews of the Death Awareness Trancework Taster

A Psychotherapist’s View

After listening to Jan’s Death Awareness Trancework Meditation Taster, I can honestly say that awareness of mortality can improve physical and mental health and help us re-prioritize our goals and values. Jan pushes individuals past these defences to confronting their mortality in a personal and experiential manner. When one is fully confronted with the reality that life ‘might not be’, life itself is seen as a limited resource that one is not entitled to, and thus appreciation for life increases. My take away from listening to Jan is that reflecting on death helps us cut through many of the most common traps of living, including avoidance, complacency, conformity, disconnection, drifting, fear, postponing, and settling.
